A pioneer in social services, human rights, social justice, and economic opportunities has an exciting new role as a Manager, Human Resources.

 

Position Overview

Manager, Human Resources is an exciting role within our growing non-profit organization, with over 250+ employees. This manager role is responsible for managing the operations of a busy HR department with 2+ direct reports. The role functions as a senior generalist supervising the following areas including but not limited to: benefits management, employee relations, payroll, policy administration recruitment and training, with an emphasis on insuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as establishing best practices. In addition, this role will participate in the review and development of new policies and processes. The successful candidate is able to respond to competing priorities and direct staff to address the needs of the agency while delivering and role modeling exceptional customer service. The ability to deliver exceptional HR related service through productive and collaborative partnerships with agency staff at all levels is key.

Requirements

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related area, and seven (7) years of progressive and supervisory Human Resources experience, OR a master' degree in Human Resources Management or related area and five (5) years of progressive and supervisory experience in the HR field, required; PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification, preferred. Must have proven ability to build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with all levels of staff, a demonstrated ability to research and analyze data, and significant process improvement experience. Prior experience participating in implementing new systems/HR vendors, a plus. Must have non-profit experience; professional preferred.
