Job Details

Position Purpose: Perform duties to plan, manage and implement the human resources function for the assigned business unit or location.
 
• Effectively partner with employees at all levels and be the trusted go to resource for advice and counsel on all matters related to human resources and organization development
• Evaluate current procedures and practices and ensure compliance with all human resource related laws, regulations and executive orders Initiate or authorize employee hires, promotions, discharges, or transfers
• Develop and facilitate appropriate training and development opportunities for management and employee development
• Use Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to measure and track and communicate key indicators such as turnover, cost of recruiting, vacancy rates, competency levels, compliance, etc
• Ensure the culture reflects, respects and celebrates diversity on all levels
• Ensure compliance with all human resources related laws, regulations and executive orders

Requirements

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field. 5+ years of human resources experience. Previous experience as a lead in a functional area, managing cross functional teams on large scale projects or supervisory experience including hiring, training, assigning work and managing the performance of staff.
