The Manager of Inclusion Programs supports, manages, and implements inclusion strategies and programs. The role reports to the Director, Workplace Equity & Performance. Provide counsel, strategic vision, and leadership to the university campus in areas of inclusion programs.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
•Initiate programs to engage the larger campus community in dialogue that results in understanding, respect, and inclusion, as well as keeping informed of the needs and climate of the campus.
•Keep current on diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity and access regulations in the workforce ensuring that relevant policies and practices incorporate required changes, educating employees as needed.
•Manage community-service outreach program for staff.
•Partner with HR Business Partners to educate and coach leaders on progressive ways to enhance diversity and inclusion on their teams and improve the employee experience.
•Collaborate with the campus-wide Staff Council Committee in developing programs and measuring employee experience outcomes.
•Responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring the inclusion program strategy.
•Regularly assess inclusion initiatives and their impact on the employee experience. Identify areas of opportunity, develop recommended courses of action, secure approval and drive implementation.
•Promote an inclusive work environment by supporting Employee Interest Groups and chairing diversity related councils/committees.
•Design and implement metrics, monitoring and reporting systems to effectively benchmark progress in diversity and inclusion using performance measures identified in the performance management program.
•Coordinate university’s response to diversity surveys.
•Review employee data relative to a group or function to gain insights into performance measures and relate them to career development needs, etc.
•Work with teams to design and implement a feedback practice for their group/project.
•Engage with new employees to discuss their experience so far and to develop programs to enhance the employee experience.
•Partner with the Talent and Organizational Development team to develop and deliver training on performance management.
•Provide best practice guidance to functional leaders and help them consider the implications of decisions or change and the effect on the employee experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
•Demonstrated passion for diversity and inclusion, and an ability to inspire and engage others.
•Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
•Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research, and trends into strategy.
•Knowledge of cultural competency, diversity and inclusiveness including gender, ethnicity, disabilities, generations, LGBTQ issues.
•Knowledge of EEO, affirmative action, Title IX and disability access regulations and procedures, and diversity and equity issues.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint.
•Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships internally and externally and interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
•Project management skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience in facilitation/presentation.
•Strong, operational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, be a team player, manage multiple projects and possess a strong knowledge of diversity metrics and analytics.

Education Requirements (Essential Requirements):
•Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline.
•Master’s degree preferred.

Work Experience Requirements (Essential Requirements):
•Five (5) years of work in related field with three years in a focused diversity role and two years in a leadership position or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
•Work experience within a higher education/health system enterprise as diversity and inclusion manager preferred.
