Job Details

The Market Recruiter is a newly created position with White Lodging, who manages 6 hotels and 5 restaurants in Downtown Indianapolis.

This role is responsible for staffing all non-management jobs for the market. This individual will run an off-site office that will serve as the designated Employment Center for all White Lodging candidates, and represent the employment brand of White Lodging to the Indianapolis community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a central recruiting office for all WL hotels in specified market
  • Market employment opportunities as a unified market
  • Source and select talent for hourly positions in the hotels within the market
  • Seek out and identify new sources of talent
  • Pre-screen and act as contact person for hourly candidates
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with community based organizations (CBOs)
  • Effectively manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead and support the WL leaders in market to build and strengthen relationships within the community and local government
  • Create awareness of WL as an employment brand within the specified market
  • Track and report out hires by source, maintain top sources as “key accounts"
  • Track open positions for the market, report out weekly at market talent meeting
  • 50% of time spent proactively recruiting outside of office
  • Manage support staff from market hotels, combination of direct and dotted line reporting

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Four-year degree beneficial
  • Previous hospitality/service industry experience
  • Previous Sales experience beneficial
