Job Details

This position will report to the Director of Organizational Development, and will primarily be responsible for:

  • Provides coaching, facilitation, team development, and professional development services that enhance the skills and performance throughout the organization that creates an alignment with the organization’s strategic plans.

  • Act as internal consultant to divisional and departmental management to solve problems; facilitate organizational development projects; consult with management on quality, customer service, as well as, with executive leaders and senior managers to implement organization improvement initiatives and assure alignment with the overall strategic plans.

  • Designs, develops, coordinates, implements, delivers and evaluates training programs, along with whole systems analysis and process reengineering that support organization objectives and are aligned with the organization’s business objectives.

  • Research and design organizational development projects and management development training programs.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:

Required:

Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Behavior with one year of work related experience in organizational and professional development, consultation, and research inquiry.

 

Experience:

Required:

One year of work related experience in organizational and professional development, consultation, and research inquiry.

  • Knowledge of professional best practices in professional and organizational development, consultation, and research inquiry.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and data analysis software.

  • Knowledge of training best practices and industry standards.

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and training development.  

  • Skill in problem solving and decision making required for high level consultation.

  • Skill in training course development.

  • Skill in data management and analytics.  

  • Skill in attention to detail and data accuracy.

  • Skill in senior-level consulting.

  • Ability to provide clarification and feedback to individuals with a diverse background.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines, with flexibility.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects that are complex in nature and broad in scope.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with vendor regarding system specific issues.

  • Ability to lead executive level training and project work.

  • Ability to provide technical guidance to OD staff and end users.

Preferred:

Three years of work related experience in organizational and professional development, consultation and research inquiry.
