Job Details

This position maintains and oversees Eversight payroll processes. Responsible for maintaining timesheet, deduction and withholding records in the payroll system to accurately process the scheduled payrolls.

Essential Job Functions

  1.  Coordinates the payroll processes, both domestic and international, including serving as the liaison between vendors and employees on payroll matters.
  2. Maintains all scheduled payrolls and associated records on employees to include hours worked, paid time off, leaves of absence, benefits, withholdings and deductions.
  3. Prepare, process and transmit the scheduled payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee the distribution of payroll checks.
  4. Ensure the integrity of all data entered into the payroll system to include new employee entry and subsequent changes to employee information (rate, department, location changes, etc.)
  5. Reconcile and fund retirement accounts for each payroll.
  6. Trains employees on payroll, including the creation of time sheets and Paid-time Off requests. Serves as the resource for employee questions related to this data base.
  7. Assist staff in understanding pay, deductions and changes.
  8. Review and integrate biweekly payroll from ADP to GP using GL interface manager.
  9. Prepare quarterly PTO accrual, and submit to CFO for review and approval. Enter into general ledger, once approved.
  10. Oversee annual 403b audit.
  11. Assist in the annual audit process.
  12. Process garnishment deductions directed by legal jurisdictions.
  13. Provides project support for finance related initiatives.
  14. Assists with clerical and administrative support to the Finance Director and Controller as needed.
  15. Handles sensitive information in a confidential, professional manner.

Requirements

Bachelors degree required; finance or accounting degree is preferred. 3 -5 years’ experience in payroll functions. CPP certification preferred. Proficiency in common Microsoft Office and other payroll software, particularly ADP, is required. Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills are essential.
