SALARY: $64,568.64 - $103,051.50 Annually

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Program-Project Coordinator, Senior in the Learning and Organizational Development Section of the Human Resources Division.

The Program/Project Coordinator, Senior is responsible for designing, developing and implementing innovative, interactive employee development solutions. In this role, you will have exposure to a variety of professions, personal growth opportunities and the opportunity to impact the community. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Organizational Development, Consulting and Instructional Design skills. Knowledge of and experience with eLearning development as well as the application of social media technology for employee development solutions is also beneficial. The key role and responsibilities include:

• Manages all phases of employee development projects
• Conducts training and organizational development needs assessments
• Creates engaging learning activities and compelling content that enhances retention and transfer of learning
• Consults with subject matter experts to analyze the needs and gather content
• Designs solutions based on needs assessment and analysis
• Identifies the most efficient and cost-effective delivery options for the County and target audiences
• Creates supporting materials in a variety of media (eLearning, Instructor-led training, experiential activities, etc.)
• Employs relevant evaluation practices

General Description
The purpose of this class within the organization is to administer large-scale programs and/or projects that have County-wide impact.

This class works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Psychology or closely related field.

Requires four (4) years of experience in a staff or administrative (leadership) capacity managing special projects, programs or business operations appropriate to the area of assignment (Learning and Organizational Development) or closely related experience.

Or any equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.

Special Certifications and Licenses Required:

Possess and maintain a valid Florida Class E Driver's License based on area of assignment.

Preferences:

Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources or Organizational Development
Certification in Instructional Design
Certification in Organizational Development
Certification in eLearning
Certification in Project Management
