CACI has an excellent opportunity for an Senior Benefits Analyst to support CACI Benefits Operations in our Reston, VA office.
 
The Benefits Analyst provides Workday system support and leverages technology solutions as a member of the Benefits Team. The individual will be the functional technical support expert to the Benefits Team in understanding business process flow, system configuration and internal and external system integrations. This position is an integral role to successful benefit operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for Workday including, but not limited to researching and resolving benefit related issues, and recommending solutions or alternate methods to ensure effective benefit operations.
  • Investigate, analyze, recommend and execute alternatives for business process flow, test plans, user documentation and training.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new functionality, testing, upgrades, integrations, and generating necessary reports.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, CIS and Payroll to review, analyze, and reconcile payroll, eligibility and census related data.
  • Effectively communicate across departments.
  • Manage the annual benefits open enrollment system operations, Workday upgrades and new benefit plan design.
  • Participate in benefits M&A due diligence and integration.

Requirements

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience in a complex environment
  • 3 – 5 years of Workday experience required
  • Requires background in the design, implementation, and administration of benefit programs, and an understanding of benefits IT systems and processes. 
  •  Experience working in organizations with 5000+ employees preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of benefit plan administration required. 
  • High level proficiency with Excel (e.g., v-lookups, pivot tables, if/then formulas).
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
  • Must demonstrate strong initiative and emerging leadership qualities with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Must possess a continuous improvement mindset: identify, recommend and improve current processes.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in government contracting industry
  • SCA benefits experience
  • Professional certifications/designations such as SPHR, CBP
