The Senior Analyst, Compensation will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation and administration of various compensation programs, under direct supervision.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of current compensation processes and programs
  • Participate in industry surveys on behalf of the company
  • Evaluate positions using industry relevant survey information and formulates recommendations
  • Assist in the performance management process relating to salary administration
  • Run regular reports, census data and updates tracking/dashboard metrics
  • Respond to employees’ questions
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations
  • Responsible for company-wide incentive pay administration tracking processes and coordination with finance department
  • Administer the online performance management system including performance appraisals, merits, short- and long-term incentives, equity database and compensation management and modeling
  • Work closely with Employee Partners and department leaders to understand and support their business objectives by providing analytical support and strategic compensation advice
  • Update job classification changes including: creating new jobs, department changes, location changes, job code/grade changes, organizational hierarchy changes
  • Perform thorough analysis and create reports to stay informed of key metrics and trends in compensation and also to assist management’s needs
  • Review internal equity and prepare proposals to management for salary adjustments
  • Conduct thorough job evaluations and assist in creating job descriptions with department leaders
  • Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market trends and industry competitive pay practices
  • Support project efforts as assigned
  • Perform analysis and create reports of key metrics/trends to meet manager needs

Requirements

Essential characteristics and competencies

  • High degree of integrity, sensitivity and professionalism in dealing with associate relations issues and confidential information

Required education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Human Resources, or related business discipline preferred, or equivalent experience
  • PHR, CEBS or CCP preferred

Required knowledge, skill and abilities

  • Must have strong analytical skills
  • Three years’ experience with proven increase in responsibility in human resources, finance, or relevant business function
  • Two years’ experience in compensation
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite
  • Oracle and ADP experience preferred
