Lexicon Pharmaceuticals is currently recruiting for an agile, resulted focused Senior Analyst, Compensation to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. 

 

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Compensation will collaborate with the Director, Compensation and Benefits on a variety of projects, including program design, analysis, administration for ongoing programs and implementation of new programs.

Key Responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

  • Developing and/or participating in compensation/benefit surveys to analyze company’s competitive position; preparing reports on findings; making recommendations; and handling administrative steps to formalize decisions.
  • Developing and documenting procedures to streamline processes and ensuring compliance with established guidelines and regulatory compliance; coordinating with HR Business Partners to educate managers.
  • Auditing existing and future positions and categorizing them by either importance to the organization or level of responsibility, determining FLSA exemptions and preparing job descriptions.
  • Administering and communicating the company’s benefits program plan options, features and enrollment.
  • Working with HRIS and IT staff to ensure that the systems meet compensation/benefits needs and are updated to reflect changes to salary structures, bonus programs, benefit programs, etc.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Minimum of five years of compensation and benefits analyst experience.
  • CCP or CEBS certification is preferred.
  • Must have deep knowledge of compensation structures and systems.
  • Expert level knowledge of Excel is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a team oriented environment.
