The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of HR goals and strategies. Work in ULG’s best interest to mitigate risk, as well as provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that encompasses quality, accountability and ULG’s core

Essential Duties + Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function by overseeing talent acquisition, career development, succession planning, retention, training, leadership development, compensation and benefits globally.

  • Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.

  • Reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization’s policies, procedures and practices on personnel matters.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective for the firm.

  • Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals.

  • Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.

  • Communicates changes in the organization’s personnel policies and procedures

  • Consults with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CFO, on personnel matters.

  • Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization.

  • Research, implement and maintain usage of a ATS, HRIS and LMS that meets the organization’s needs.

  • Other duties as may be reasonably requested

 

Education, Experience + Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or related area

  • 10+ years of experience in a combination of the following: HR, employee relations, and talent management

  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions and International HR

  • Strong customer relationship skills with a proven ability to build and sustain relationships with senior leadership

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and negotiate skills with the ability to drive resolution among parties with varying interests, including development of strategies and models.
