Job Details

Weber Logistics is seeking a Senior Director of Human Resources to lead our department in delivering best in class HR services to our leaders and employees.

We are the leading west coast Third Party Logistics provider, with headquarters in Santa Fe Springs CA. We provide a broad range of supply chain services including drayage, distribution, less-than-truckload and brokerage services. Our clients include a wide range of national and international companies.

The Senior Director will have responsibility for labor relations, employee relations, benefits administration, safety, compensation and organizational development. The Senior Director leads a team of three experienced Human Resources professionals supporting Weber’s organizational goals. The Senior Director will collaborate with leaders throughout Weber and report directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance.

Our ideal candidate would have a demonstrated record of supporting a growing organization by developing and implementing employee relations, labor relations, HRIS, training and development and compensation programs to support strategic objectives.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • College degree in relevant field or appropriate professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading an HR department
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in labor negotiations and administering labor agreements
  • Ability to collaborate, providing key HR services to all members of the Weber team.
  • Ability to travel including daily travel among various locations in the San Bernardino County, LA County and San Diego.
  • Experience in an organization with a skilled, semi-skilled and professional labor force.
  • Experience in developing and implementing union avoidance strategies
  • Proficiency in Spanish is desirable.
  • SPHR certification is desirable
  • Strong analytical, data skills including the use of Excel, Word and HRIS systems.
