The Senior Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading long-term strategic initiatives while delivering against aggressive annual performance goals.  We are looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate thought leader to join our Human Resources team and be a part of an exciting opportunity to lead our Talent Acquisition team and develop innovative strategies to identify and recruit the best people.  We believe our strengths as a company are our brands and our people.  

This position will develop and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies that optimize our high performing culture and drive business results.  This role ensures that the organization hiring needs are met at all levels in the companies.  

The Senior Director will lead and develop a team of employees and manage RPO partner and external search firms.  The Senior Director must leverage a strong network of external resources to ensure the company’s employer brand is compelling and attractive to candidates. 

 

Scope of the role:

  • Leads all efforts for recruiting highly qualified and diverse talent at all levels in the organization
  • Develops and implements innovative hiring strategies to optimize a high performing culture
  • Partners with Strategic Business Partners and hiring managers to understand business need to translate those needs into creative sourcing solutions
  • Develops strong partnerships and networks with external sources such as universities and technical schools
  • Manages all operational activities for Talent Acquisition
  • Develops and implements annual Intern Programming
  • Deliver against aggressive annual performance goals and recruiting metrics

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Demonstrate the following leadership qualities as a key leader in Human Resources and the Talent Management Team.

  • Strong technical and on-line savvy with a keen understanding of current and emerging technology to include applicant tracking, search engines & social media

  • Ability to craft strategy across area of responsibility that touches each area of the organization

Specific Duties & Accountabilities

  • Leads and manages the Talent Acquisition Team to deliver strong results aligned with corporate strategy
  • Accountability for multi-year strategy and operating plans that will have significant impact on the strength of entire organization
  • Develop, source and execute state of the art plans for attracting, recruiting, onboarding and retaining employees across all levels in the organization
  • Create and leverage innovative networks and outreach initiatives to identify talent and talent needs
  • Manage all operational aspects of the recruiting and hiring processes and programs, including the Recruitment Process Outsourcing vendor, internal searches and external search firms.
  • Build quality and diverse pipeline for talent
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to screen and select the best candidates
  • Develop capabilities of direct reports to prepare individuals for future roles

 

Requirements

Job Qualifications
  • A 4-year college degree is required
  • A minimum of 8 years of Human Resources experience required
    • 5 years leading a talent acquisition team preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of successful, innovative programming that identifies, attracts and retains talent within an organization
  • Effective cross-functional business knowledge
  • The ability to influence through keen awareness of stakeholder interests and the effective communication of vision and possibility both vertically and laterally within the organization
  • Ability to direct and craft comprehensive human resources strategies and plans
  • Inspiring leadership that effectively motivates cross-functional teams to achieve superior performance
  • Be a visionary and catalyst for change
  • Effective and efficient management of programs and budgets
