The Role (Located in South San Francisco)  Reporting to the Senior Vice President Human Resources and Corporate Affairs, the Senior Human Resources Manager will be a critical member of HR team, with sole responsibility for delivering a variety of staffing, employee relations and training services to Audentes' Technical Operations and Research groups in South San Francisco. Based on a deep understanding of our business objectives, customer needs and the competitive landscape, this HR professional will become a trusted advisor for both managers and employees to help recruit, engage and retain the Company's top talent in these functions to drive and exceed business goals. The person in this role will also serve as a close advisor to the SVP and other HR colleagues on critical HR issues such as maintaining a common culture across the entire company, ensuring the proper organizational structure for the growth of these critical functions and continually improving HR’s partnerships with leaders across the Company. Major areas of responsibility include: • Ensure the delivery and consistency of core HR processes in the areas of recruiting, employee relations, benefits and compensation with a particular focus on the Technical Operations and Research functions • Coordinate skill/management, EHS and GMP training • Provide value-added coaching and guidance with a focus on capability building, career development, employee engagement, talent and performance management • Partner with managers, while remaining connected and approachable for employees, to address HR issues such as: work place conflicts; unacceptable performance; job redesigns; development planning; and, corresponding processes such as change management, reassignments, training, job eliminations, or terminations • Partner with the senior leaders in these functions, and with the balance of the HR group, to ensure a common company culture and shared values across the entire company • Ensure that succession planning remains a focus so these functions can scale as needed and develop talent from within • Provide organization developme

Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience • BS degree; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. • 5+ years of overall HR generalist experience in manufacturing, with in depth knowledge of: wage and hour and employment laws; developing/managing training; and, linking HR solutions to key business drivers and outcomes • Strong skills working with peers, business partners, and other colleagues - embracing different people and cultures to positively impact business performance and foster strong teamwork and inclusion • Demonstrated success handling a wide range of employee relations issues with a heavy service delivery focus • Demonstrated experience building credibility and trust among both employees and managers • High degree of confidentiality, resiliency, respect for others and tact • History of collaboration within and across the business/functions, while understanding the end-to-end implications of decisions; leverages sound decision-making and strong judgment even under challenging circumstances • Strong communication skills - both oral and written; easily demonstrates for stakeholders capability in creating sustainable results; personal impact, authority and pace come through at all organizational levels • Effective consultative and influencing skills up, down and across a challenging operational, manufacturing and scientific environment • Excellent technical skills (i.e. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Flexibility to work alternative schedules as needed
