Senior Manager - HR Program Management

Specific Responsibilities and Skills
The Senior Manager, HR Program Management will manage the strategic implementation and coordination of employee and company programs, processes and technology. As a senior-member of the HR Program Management team, the individual will lead the overall coordination of HR programs across the function by integrating various initiatives and supporting the overall strategic planning of the HR function
In addition, the Senior Manager will manage multiple strategic and operational initiatives related to M&A activities, geographic expansion, HR technology, process improvement and employee engagement. This role requires in-depth knowledge of HR, an awareness of the interdependencies between HR processes and an understanding of how to integrate and implement HR programs across the function. A critical component of the role is to operate effectively at both the strategic and operational level and have excellent facilitation, influencing and people-management skills. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of successfully coaching, developing, and mentoring team members to deliver projects and programs on schedule and on budget

Essential Duties and Job Functions
Establish and implement project management methodologies to drive coordination across Centers of Excellence and HR Business Partner functions to ensure programs are rolled out to the business in a timely, well-coordinated and high-impact manner
Develop and maintain detailed work plans which include identification of project tasks, clear milestones and assignment of project task responsibilities, schedules, plans, resources, budget and status reports
Support function leadership in the planning, designing, due diligence and implementing of strategic business objectives
Conduct detailed research and analysis, developing and presenting recommendations to senior management and driving overall project management and implementation activities
Demonstrate a commitment to ensure that all line management and stakeholder needs are met by taking personal responsibility for service and quality

Education & Experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Must possess well-developed influencing skills
Must be able to exercise judgment and independently determine and take appropriate action within defined procedures
Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises some latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment
8+ years of relevant experience and a BS
6+ years of relevant experience and an MBA
Experience should include 3+ years of participation in cross-functional project management activities

Skills Required:
Knowledge of HR programs and processes; previous work as a HR Business Partner or Center Of Excellence team member preferred
Proven track record in strategic thinking, project management, analytics, and problem solving
Ability to assess and prioritize conflicting business priorities and multi task in a high-pressure environment
Excellent leadership and people-management skills
Excellent written and interpersonal communication; ability to influence senior leaders and stakeholders
Self-motivated with a focus on driving results
Proven ability to perform with accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
Ability to consult with and influence senior members of management (HR and line)
High proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Project and Access
