Job Details

The Talent Acquisition Manager will play a critical role in the organization ensuring that Talent Acquisition processes support the business strategy, goals, culture, mission and values of Bon Secours. This position implements and executes strategies designed to attract, and recruit top talent and gain a return on investment in all areas of recruitment. Creates a team that is respected and trusted by both internal and external clients, and viewed as a strategic partner.  In addition assigned by geography to be the talent business partner to HR and local executives.

 

  • Provides leadership, support, and strategic direction by leading talent acquisition for BSHSI. Direct reports to include Associate Talent Consultants, Talent Consultants, and Senior Talent Consultants. 
  • Ensures timely and efficient recruitment services by collaborating withbusiness partners for the recruitment process and successful recruitment of top talent.
  • Ensures the Talent Acquisition team is viewed as a trusted and collaborative partner in BSHSI, including strong partnerships with the HR business partners in all markets, and works to define and align recruiting strategies, policies, and services with overall business goals.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with senior leadership and departmental management to be a consultative resource and trusted advisor throughout the interview and employment life cycle.
  • Maintains a high level of awareness of industry practices, market intelligence, trends and related legal/regulatory matters by participating in professional conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks and membership in appropriate professional associations.
  • Seeks creative solutions for sourcing candidates that clearly positions BSHSI’s employment brand strongly in the marketplace.
  • Applies technology to the Talent Acquisition process resulting in innovative systems (ATS, RMK, etc.)
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with colleges, universities, community leaders, organizations, vendors, etc. related to the acquisition of talent.
  • Develops and monitors key performance metrics to measure and drive results. Evaluates and assesses effectiveness of recruitment strategies to continuously improve talent acquisition efforts and provide return on investment.
  • Leads BSHSI-wide recruiting initiatives which improve processes, policies, tools, and candidate quality. Continually evaluates identifies ways to build upon and streamline the candidate and internal experience.
  • Drive BSHSI diversity initiatives by implementing minority outreach recruiting strategies and maintaining contact with minority organizations/associations.
  • Coaches and mentors assigned staff, assigns work according to skills and departmental needs, assess performance and provides feedback to direct reports.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve results under remote supervision. Travel throughout the health system (target 25%).

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree. (Advanced degree preferred) PHR/SPHR required

  • Minimum of 10 years of recruiting and/or well-rounded human resources experience required in a best-in-class organization

  • Demonstrated success in guiding and leading work teams, building relationships and creating a problem-solving environment

  • Ability to influence, negotiate, and gain commitment at all organizational levels

  • Skilled with competency and behavior based interview and assessment

  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws

  • Success in developing and delivering recruitment strategies beyond the traditional and improving outcome/metrics

  • Possess a high degree of comfort and experience in implementing change management, in a fast paced business environment

  • Initiative to develop and proceed with new ideas, projects, or process improvements to improve the business

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business and Human Resources leaders in an influential manner with a strong focus on quality and customer service

  • Previous supervisory experience required
