Job Description:

As a Senior Ad Analyst, you'll oversee the grievance and complaint process and support to the Labor Relations and Employee Relations and Compensation divisions. You'll make sure issues are addressed quickly and in accordance with established procedures, helping create an environment where employees are accountable and empowered to succeed
In this role, your communications skills will be critical to your success. You'll write analytical correspondence and reports, as well as use your outstanding verbal skills to exchange complex and sensitive information. You'll also be expected to interact seamlessly and clearly across all levels of our organization, as well as maintain a database of grievances that ensure the process is properly followed and deadlines are met

SELECTED DUTIES:
Drafting acceptance and rejection letters
Tracking the status of grievances to maintain the integrity of the process
Coordinating grievance meetings and fact-finding hearings
Providing administrative support to the Director and Assistant Director



Job Qualifications:

Skill in exchanging ideas, information, and opinions with employees, managers, and others
Skill in prioritizing assignments when faced with changes in workload, including competing priorities and pressing deadlines
Working knowledge of university personnel policies, collective bargaining agreements, and other administrative policies and procedures
Skill in using Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of the University's EDB system in relation to union dues enrollment and cancellation policies, procedures, and processing
Ability to address and resolve conflicts
Working knowledge of UCLA Health's travel policies & procedures
