We are looking for senior recruiter to manage Ellucian’s recruitment for Latin America (Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Brazil) This role will be based out of our Puebla, MX office reporting into the Manager of Recruiting in the US. The senior recruiter will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers within US and across all the Latin America Ellucian locations to provide strategic full-life cycle talent acquisition support into Ellucian. This position requires strong IT recruiting experience with consultative and advisory expertise to partner hiring managers, HR Business Partners and sr. leaders to understand their business and requirement, develop innovative sourcing strategy, and ensure both positive candidate and client experience throughout the recruiting process.

Activities include:
  • Overall talent acquisition support of all roles in LAC with the ability hire active roles and proactively build pipeline of talent for future needs. Support the recruiting efforts by managing job postings, sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling interviews and facilitating logistics to ensure a positive interview experience for both candidates and clients
  • Develop recruiting strategy using creative sourcing techniques to develop a pipeline of talent
    Maintains an active pool of candidates for current and future employment opportunities
  • Keeps networks active by frequent communicating and company /program information sharing
  • Manage applicant correspondence, including but not limited to, offer letters, training and start date communications, invitations, and recruiting evaluations.
  • Review and provide recommendations on ways to improve recruiting processes, policies, and programs that is aligned with Ellucian’s recruiting goals and ensure compliance each respective countries’ employment laws and regulations
  • Attend, coordinate and participate in formal campus recruitment events.
  • Assist in creating and preparing weekly and monthly recruiting reports, dashboards and scorecards
  • Develop and manage project plans with action items, timelines, requirements, expectations, and parties responsible for the execution of tasks on a timely manner and within budget
  • Responsible for communications with candidates throughout recruitment process, managing interactions in accordance with country specific employment laws and regulations and in a manner, that fosters transparency, simplicity and respect
  • Seek opportunities to expand internships and college hiring programs into LAC countries
  • Demonstrate utilization of sourcing techniques that reach diverse populations.
  • Develop strong relationships with domestic and international recruiters, and assist with recruiting processes, systems, and programs improvements to meet Ellucian’s TA goals
  • Engages by presenting ideas and collaboration opportunities
  • Improve on existing processes for enhanced efficiency, effectiveness and service
  • Travel as required


  • 5+ years of IT recruiting experience and/or BS/DA degree
  • Knowledge of Mexico, Chile, Brazil and Colombia employment laws/regulations
  • Recruiting experience in Mexico, Chile, Brazil and Colombia technical jobs
  • Knowledge in ATS, recruiting tools
  • Strong business acumen with ability to understand business needs and requirements and translate into sourcing strategy
  • Ability to develop recruiting strategies utilizing various creative techniques including social media
  • Strong program and project management skills
  • Knowledgeable in English language, Portuguese is preferred
