The Talent Analytics Manager a key member of the Global Diversity & Inclusion/Talent Management Center of Excellence (COE).  The role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic global team working to enhance individual, team and organizational performance to enable Air Products to outgrow and outperform its competitors around the world.  Reporting directly to the Director, Global Diversity & Inclusion, the role is responsible for on-going talent and diversity reporting, as well as collecting and analyzing talent data, correlating talent data with business performance, and providing insights and actionable recommendations resulting from the analytics.  Research and analysis will include topics such as workforce diversity, inclusiveness, talent acquisition, turnover and promotion trends, employee engagement, team performance, and the effectiveness of manager/leader development efforts.   

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develops a roadmap to continue to build Air Products’ overall capability in the increasingly important area of talent analytics.
  • Identifies, analyzes and reports on current trends in turnover, hiring, promotions, and other key performance indicators at the Corporate and Business/Functional levels; Prepares quarterly talent and diversity dashboards for senior HR and business leadership; Ensures quality assurance of HR reports and metrics.
  • Conducts ad hoc analyses across multiple sources of data (e.g., talent assessments, employee surveys, 360-degree feedback, turnover report, exit surveys, etc.) with the goal of informing talent strategy and influencing change.
  • Partners with HR colleagues and the Data and Analytics IT team around the world to support specific workforce planning, talent and diversity efforts by providing people metrics, and advanced and predictive analytics to enable data driven decisions.
  • Serves as the key focal point for talent and diversity related external benchmarks and survey.
  • Collaborates with colleagues in the HR COEs (learning and development, staffing, talent management, diversity, compensation/benefits) to measure and provide analytical insights to continuously improve program effectiveness.
  • Uses advanced statistics and tools to ensure analytics are meaningful, rigorous and provide actionable insights.
  • Communicates findings effectively using compelling, logically structured presentations (including story-telling of research/analytics findings)
  • Leads development and implementation of contemporary global employee survey solutions, including a quarterly pulse engagement & inclusiveness survey.




Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master’s degree (preferred) in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, Business Analytics, Statistics or a related field.
  • Experience with relational databases, SQL, MS Excel, Minitab preferred
  • Experience with SAP Master Data, SAP BW, SAP Table Structures preferred
  • Previous experience or capability to quickly learn QlikSense Dashboarding tool
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to organize data and a demonstrated knowledge of research design, statistical analysis, and measurement.
  • Experience working with advanced and predicative analytics and data visualization, preferably in an HR context.
  • Knowledge of HR processes 
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate ideas in a clear/concise manner. 
  • HRIS and SAP experience, preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office, with an expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
