This position would facilitate the development of various training programs to support our organizational needs and ISO 9001 standards.  He/she would responsible for the development of the below programs through the implementation phase, and continue to support the established training programs as needed.  

Job Summary :

Deliverable 1: This individual helps to establish leadership in sales force training and development. This includes training on the market, products, competition, selling skills, etc. Training programs for sales associates include all levels of competency from the training of new hires to advanced or seasoned representatives. Other training responsibilities may include in-house personnel for product orientation as well as one-day focused training sessions for newly hired personnel and managers.

Deliverable 2:  This individual will assist with the develop of training for managerial and key personnel to ensure all employees have the necessary competence to produce quality products in a manufacturing environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

This individual will develop, implement and conduct interactive training programs, targeted primarily to the Associate. Such training programs will include on-line programs, on-site training in Deerfield Beach as well as in the field and the use of custom-designed self-study materials, to include pre- and post- course work utilizing effective learning platforms (e.g. paper modules, videos, CDs, etc.).
This individual will continually monitor the effectiveness of training programs and modify them in response to assessments and changing needs. This requires extensive interaction with a variety of internal and external personnel.  Must be capable of conducting the training programs independently, but is also encouraged to bring in other product experts to assist in the training experience.

Expected Areas of Competence :

·         Must have a demonstrated aptitude and desire for training adults and be skilled in the principles of adult learning. Must practice sound principles of performance-based systematic instructional design to achieve desired outcomes.

·         Must have the expertise (or the ability to gain expertise quickly) to train in the assigned product area as well as in the theory and practice of consultative selling and institutional selling.

·         Must be able to design a training program repetitively within budget.

·         Must gain and hold the respect of the field sales force and other key personnel.

·         Must demonstrate proficiency in developing creative sales training materials and programs.

·         Must be able to make to identify areas of need for the sales force, including areas of commercial impact (i.e. sales needs and then develop identified materials, culminating with the timely delivery of the tools.)

·         Must be able to effectively coach during sales training classes, in particular sales role plays. Must therefore demonstrate mastery of the sales training process ranging from product expertise to Insights and all other portions of the selling skills model.

·         Must demonstrate a mastery level expertise in teaching and facilitation skills within the classroom setting.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Proven ability to establish programs achieving maximum effectiveness in achieving the organization’s strategic goals.

·         Excellent organizational and project management skills for developing, planning, conducting and facilitating training events given aggressive timelines.

·         The desire and ability to use a wide range of technology to help deliver effective, high quality training.

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.

·         Must be able to work with a high level of emotional intelligence, including demonstration of good business judgment and collaborative teamwork.


Education/Experience Requirements :

·         Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline is required; MBA/MA preferred.

·         A minimum of 5-7 years in a sales capacity is preferred. 

·         8-10 years in training experience is  strongly preferred.

Travel Requirements  Up to 50%
