Job Details

Our growing global organization is seeking a Senior Manager, Training and Development in our corporate headquarters to lead the design, planning, and implementation of training programs aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company.  This role holds the global leadership position for the training and development function, and is housed within our HR Business Partner department.

We are an agile and adaptable Global HR Division, supporting the ever-evolving needs of our high-tech audio company with an emphasis on internal consultancy.  This job is open due to growth.  The successful candidate will therefore have the benefit of onboarding with the previous head of training, building upon existing programs while also expanding our offerings.

Working in close partnership with our HR Business Partners around the world, collaborate with functional managers and senior leaders to assess ongoing and future development needs globally.  Develop and manage a program delivery schedule.  Provide consultation to teams, department managers and HR Business Partners to meet adhoc needs as they arise.  Provide engaging communications about program information to encourage participation and highlight the value and benefits of training opportunities.  Monitor and help develop budgets, policies and procedures related to the training function, including effectiveness measures.

This role will start as a single-incumbent, effectively leveraging the expertise of HR colleagues, utilizing “train the trainer” initiatives, on-demand technologies and external partners to meet training demands.   May be asked to provide guidance to business leaders in the development of technical training or customer-facing training programs.

Excellent communication, coordination, planning, business acumen, leadership and collaboration skills are required, in addition to extensive knowledge of adult learning methodologies, virtual training creation and delivery, exceptional facilitation skills and solid curriculum programming. Global experience/cultural awareness competency is strongly preferred.
