Position Summary:

The Sr. Benefits Analyst will play an active role in shaping and implementing the World Kitchen’s employee benefits, wellness programs and retirement plans throughout the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationship with the Benefits Outsource Call Center and is the first point of escalation for all associated issues. Partners with outsource call center in the development of customer correspondence for escalated issues and troubleshoots issues raised by the Call Center.
  • Oversees benefits vendor communications and liaise with internal HR Team
  • Participates in all third party vendor, consultant and Benefit Committee meetings
  • Leads Open Enrollment planning, organization and development of communication to employees, vendors and internal HR team. Open Enrollment for Site testing. Assists with the development of the timeline of annual enrollment and manages associated task accordingly.
  • Manages the filing of all government-required reports (5500’s) for our plans. Responsible for the annual non-discrimination testing for the 401(k) plan and organizes the annual audit of the 401(k) and Defined Benefit Pension Plan by our external auditors.
  • Promote the growth and continued success of Wellness Program Initiatives.
  • Plan Employee Assistance Program and Financial Wellness Webinars and onsite learning sessions.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for all health & welfare and benefit plans with applicable internal ethical standards and applicable external laws, regulations, rules and requirements. Prepare and distribute plan documents, summary plan descriptions and summary annual reports. Maintain other forms and materials
  • Conduct informational meetings and orientations for employees and new hires.
  • Project management responsibility for benefits team internal and external calendar planning for large projects.
  • All other duties assigned.


  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree, CEBS, and/or PHR preferred
  • 5+ years related experience working with health & welfare and retirement plans ideally in a manufacturing/union environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask on a variety of situations.
  • Focus and attention to detail with large-project short-term-project timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to relationship-building between 3rd party resources, HR and World Kitchen employees.
