Sr Compensation Analyst

Responsibilities:
· Conducts market pay, broad-based and/or sales incentive plan design, salary equity, and/or compensation administration/program studies
· Conducts market pricing (job evaluation) reviews for all levels of exempt and nonexempt jobs throughout the company
· Conducts reviews of broad-based and/or sales incentive compensation plans and program results and makes recommendations for design changes
· Writes incentive plan documents and prepares plan communication materials
· Completes established compensation surveys and develops criteria for special pay and incentive design studies
· Provides guidance to management and HR Business Partners regarding application of compensation policies, practices, and guidelines on matters such as new hire requisitions and salary, job, and incentive actions
· Conducts research and prepares analyses by accessing data from HRIS system
· Participates in coordination and review of annual salary review and incentive recommendation programs

Qualifications:
· Five or more years of compensation experience including market data analysis and job evaluation, salary administration, including at least one year of incentive compensation plan design and/or administration. Experience in an insurance company, investment management, and/or financial services environment and experience in sales incentive plan design are strongly preferred
· Demonstrated verbal and communication skills in presenting recommendations and providing assistance to all levels of management
· Requires strong proficiency in use of spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) to design and prepare detailed analyses, pro forma models, plan calculations, and presentations of compensation programs and alternatives
· Proficiency in the use of word processing and presentation software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, etc.) is required to document programs and prepare presentations for management and plan participants
· Certified Compensation Professional and 4-year degree with emphasis on business administration, human resources, finance, etc., is preferred.
