Senior Director/Director of Human Resources

Position Summary: This is a fulltime exempt level position reporting to the ­­­­­­­­­­­Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer and will be based in our Support Center in Boca Raton.  We are looking for a strategic planner with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.  The Sr. Director/Director develops policy and directs the Human Resources Team as the leader of Recruitment, Benefits, Training, Payroll and Employee Relations.  The Sr. Director/Director is a trusted advisor and business partner to Executives and their respective management teams advising them on HR issues relevant to their organizational objectives and working with them to implement HR programs, which the Director plays a key role in developing.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership in developing and executing HR strategy in support of the company.

 

  • Participates in the development of corporate plans and programs with the objective of balancing the needs of the employees with satisfaction of the Company’s business objectives.

 

  • Establish creditability throughout the organization with management and the employees in order to be an effective HR professional and business partner.

 

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies and programs that identify, hire and retain top talent. Assure the organization's growth by integrating recruitment strategies and plans with the Company’s business objectives.
  • Provide counsel to management and employees on employee relations issues.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable laws regarding human resources.
  • Take a leadership role in developing an organizational culture that will serve the business and enhance the Company’s ability to meet business objectives.
  • Drive HR operational excellence through data analysis and metrics; seek improvements through technology-based solutions.
  • Oversee administration, implementation, and communication of company benefits programs.
  • Manage the compensation and performance review processes.
  • Oversee the payroll process and HRIS.
  • Design and implement training programs as needed.
  • Prepare human resources budget and meet financial goals.

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required and Master's degree preferred; Minimum 10 to 15 years broad-based HR experience, ten of which must be at the management level.

 

  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:  "SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred"

 

  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus.

 

  • History of successfully managing and leading human resources functions and a track record of demonstrating how and in what manner human resources contributes a positive impact upon the business.

 

  • Must be tactical and strategic; willing to roll-up sleeves to get the job done.

 

  • Influential communicator who can build strong team bonds and generate commitment and enthusiasm in the workplace. 

 

  • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment.

 

  • Strong process orientation.

 

  • Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving.
