Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time, Sr. Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. The Sr. Employee Relations Specialist will work closely with the Director of Employee/Labor Relations in the daily operation of the Medical Center's employee relations functions. 


Responsibilities include:

  • Recommending policies and procedures
  • Serving in an advisory capacity to management and staff on employee relations issues
  • Ensuring consistent application of the Medical Center's policies and procedures regarding ADA, EEOC, disciplinary matters and recommending changes in those policies and/or procedures, as appropriate
  • Participating in unemployment hearings, and assisting, as needed, in labor relations activities


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Hospital Administration or closely related field
  • Five years of previous human resources experience, with an emphasis on employee relations/policy administration
  • Equivalent combinations of education/experience may be considered
