Reformation is looking for an experienced Senior HR Generalist to support our Manufacturing Operations Facility.  You will be the first point of contact responding to HR and payroll related questions and will assist and support the team with handling various Human Resources activities. This role will handle onboarding new hires, updating compensation changes, off-boarding/ exit process, processing workers compensation, coordinating time off management and data management plus employee events.  

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the point of contact for answering HR, Employee Relations and payroll related questions.
  • Process new hire paperwork and manage new hire orientation.
  • Handle the off-boarding / exit process for employees with both voluntary and involuntary terminations.
  • Work with Payroll to process employee change forms.
  • Implement company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate employee culture / team-building events.
  • Update HR systems, employee reports, employee directory and org charts on a weekly basis.
  • Administer time off policies, such as Paid Sick Leave.
  • Manage workers compensation claims and assist with developing safety programs and initiatives.
  • Assist the Manufacturing Managers / Supervisors with recruitment and drafting job postings.
  • Handling verifications of employment.  
  • Assist with Leaves of Absences.
  • Maintain employee files.


What You’ll Need:

  • Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to provide support during factory hours (7AM - 3:30PM).
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task and adapt to a rapidly changing demands and priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with all levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledgeable with California Employment/Labor Standards and Human Rights.

Extra Credit:

  • Prior experience working in the garment industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or certification in PHR or SPHR.
  • Some experience working with an HR or Payroll system.
