SUMMARY

Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the company’s human resource information system (HRIS - UltiPro) and other HR systems. This position is the focal point for end user support and implementation of system functionality, data extraction, reporting and analysis. This position interacts closely with payroll, benefits, recruiting, and other HR staff to support employee data needs for these areas. Responsible for developing custom reports and queries as needed by the business and HR staff. Additional responsibilities include data integrity, audits, oversight of employee and manager self service functions, and maintenance of internal database files and tables.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports all HR systems and technology-related initiatives related to HRIS, applicant tracking, and other web based applications/vendors which includes maintaining stability, troubleshooting, managing data integrity, and setting parameters for security profiles;
• Works with HR, payroll, and other corporate services staff to assist in development of HR related system functionality, process or other needed improvements;
• Implements new functionality in UltiPro system including Manager Self Service, Employee Self Service, and Workflow which includes proactive participation in the planning and execution of upgrades and testing;
• Delivers web-based or in person training when launching new system functionality;
• Designs queries and provides regularly scheduled or ad hoc HRIS reports for HR and management as needed. Manipulates and presents data at advanced levels in Excel for analysis purposes;
• Provides day-to-day end user support for HR information systems, acts as department expert for all things related to HR systems;
• Identifies and resolves system issues, opens vendor tickets, and monitors issues to satisfactory resolution;
• Responds to Requests for Proposal (RFP) data requests;
• Works on special projects to represent the HRIS function;
• Assists management with the coordination of various projects as assigned handling all tasks in a professional and timely manner;
• Typically manages one or more large-scale projects having cross functional and organizational implications; and
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
5-7 years related work experience; 5 years specifically related to HRIS, preferably UltiPro
Demonstrated ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed
Experience in functioning in a complex organization preferred

SKILLS

Excellent oral and written communication skills
Presentation and training delivery skills with technical and non-technical clients
Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUp, Macros) and UltiPro system
Proficient in other Microsoft Office products
Excellent problem solving, analytical, and time management skills
Good planning, organizational and prioritization skills necessary for meeting deadlines
Ability to take initiative and ability to work within a team / foster teamwork
