 SUMMARY  

A brief description summarizing the overall purpose and objectives of the position and the results the worker is expected to accomplish.

 Under the guidance of HR Director, serve as Learning and Development HR Representative to the organization. This position administers both strategic, high level program planning as well as executes various administrative duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position that are most important to get the job done.

  1. Work with HR Leadership to strategize, plan and deploy companywide training efforts;
  2. Assess and determine departments’’ needs, instructional goals and training objectives to develop customized learning programs;
  3. Effectively leverage best practices and organization feedback to optimize effectiveness of training programs;
  4. Leverage various assessment tools to evaluate training effectiveness and impact on employees performance;
  5. Manage and continue to enhance internal supervisor and emerging leader programs;
  6. Manage external leadership program nomination process, i.e., EnGen, Intentional Leader;
  7. Evaluate and research new technologies and emerging training issues; make recommendations to enhance existing or create new training programs;
  8. Facilitate instructor led training;
  9. Manage HR Learning & Development department budget and monitor companywide spending on training
  10. Serve as primary administrator for the Learning Management System (LMS);
  11. Create internal E-Learning content, training material and Quick Reference Guides;
  12. Provide administrative support to the program including, communications, scheduling, roster management, materials production, facilities coordination, participant tracking;
  13. Manage PDC’s Lunch & Learn Program;
  14. Conduct orientation for all candidates hired at Denver location;
  15. Develop and manage companywide Training communication;
  16. Perform other tasks as directed by VP and/or Director Human Resources.

  2. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications;

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

The scope of the person’s authority, including a list of jobs that report to the incumbent.

This position may have supervisory responsibilities.

WORKING CONDITIONS  

The environment in which the job is performed, especially any unique conditions outside a normal office environment.

  1. Consistent with that of a normal office environment;
  2. Includes 10-25% travel to the Colorado and Texas field offices and PDC’s WV office.

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS  

The minimum level of education, experience, and certifications required to perform the job.

  1. Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resource Management or related field;
  2. Five to eight years working experience with various HR functions;
  3. Oil and gas industry experience preferred.
