SUMMARY:
The Senior Manager, Training and Development is ultimately responsible for the content, delivery, and results of training programs designed specifically to positively impact United Pacific’s employee development and overall performance. This role requires someone with deep experience in facilitation and delivery, e-learning, learning design, content development, project management, and the talent to develop robust learning solutions that maximize employee and leadership development and ROI. Having a true passion for employee development, this role will implement a best in class, scalable learning curriculum that engages all employees and ultimately delivers the required knowledge and skills necessary for both individual and company success. They will champion a progressive learning environment that stands to capitalize on the unique, diverse talents represented in our fast-paced, growing retail business.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Partnering with the Training team, HR Business Partners and Retail Field Operations leadership, this role is responsible for the design, development and deployment of blended learning solutions to ensure learning objectives and business outcomes are fully defined and met.
• Primary focus will be developing training and talent development solutions and programs for a 325+ high growth, multi-site, convenience retailer with 3000 employees.
• As a demonstrated thought leader, will bring innovative learning solutions from both internal and external networks.
• Proactively use technology, industry best practices, and alternative learning methods to continue to evolve learning and development activities.
• Is viewed as a master trainer and facilitator.
• Implement training assessment and evaluation methods to measure individual success and program effectiveness, and to continuously improve resources.
• Assess learning and development programs and solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and relevance to the needs of the changing business.

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in organization behavior or instructional design. Graduate degree preferred. • Minimum 5+ years l training leadership and curriculum development experience in the retail industry. • Prior experience creating and implementing innovative, scalable learning programs for a fast-pace, high growth, multi-site retail company which maximizes ROI and capitalizes on technology . • Demonstrated ability to translate business goals and objectives into actionable training programs that verifiably make a positive impact on individual and company performance. • Experience developing leadership development content and programs • Experience developing and leading talent assessment/review/development programs for high potential and emerging talent. • Ability to build trust, foster engagement, and create positive collaborative relationships across multiple levels within a diverse retail organization. • Strong planning, consulting, organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. • Strong business acumen • Strong leadership skills
