Job Summary:
 

ON Semiconductor is seeking a highly-motivated, experienced Staff Compensation Analyst to join our fast paced Compensation team, based in our Phoenix, AZ headquarters. As a Staff Compensation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to design, develop and administer ON’s compensation programs globallyThis role will also consult and collaborate with HRBPs, Recruitment and business leaders on strategy and compensation related inquiries. Flexibility to manage competing and shifting priorities is essential in this position. The Staff Compensation Analyst position requires significant attention to detail and the ability to work with all levels of leadership within the organization.


Performance Objectives:
  • Designs and administers global compensation programs, including executive compensation, annual merit review, bonus cycles & equity 
  • Helps prepare Compensation Committee materials for Board meetings
  • Participates in executive compensation surveys, conducts research and analyzes pay data to assess and determine the company’s competitive position and formulate recommendations 
  • Consults with internal HR partners and recruiters to support compensation processes, inquiries and program education
  • Leads global salary range development process
  • Designs and generates customized executive reports and analyses with quick turnaround, based on business requests
  • Oversees periodic audits to ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies
  • Identifies, develops and documents procedures to streamline compensation processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborates on large scale, high visibility compensation projects such as merger and acquisition integrations
  • Accurately analyzes and prioritizes details while consistently producing error-free work
  • Acts in a safe manner at all times and ensure that those around them do not put themselves or others at risk
  • Mentors, advises and assists junior colleagues
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, finance, human resources, or related field required
  • 8 years of experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and computation skills
  • Use of Microsoft Office Suite; must have intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to act with discretion, confidentiality and good judgment
  • Ability to prepare and present materials to executive audiences
  • Self-starter with strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to and understand people in a courteous and professional manner 
  • Required to conduct business with the highest legal and ethical standards
