SoBran, Inc. has an opportunity available for a full-time Staffing & Retention Manager to join the team, working at our corporate offices in Dayton, Ohio. The Staffing & Retention Manager will serve as the employment marketplace expert and evaluate best sourcing opportunities to find top candidates in various disciplines, to include technical, scientific and general labor positions. Staffing, workforce planning and proactively driving recruiting efforts are all key functions for this role. This individual will need to develop a thorough understanding of the skill sets needed to fill SoBran’s most common positions and understand the appropriate keywords to identify relevant candidate profiles. The successful candidate will be a high-energy, results-driven, customer-service oriented team player that requires very little oversight and enjoys a challenge. Other primary functions of the position include:

  • Identify appropriate and effective employment advertising mediums for various contract locations
  • Analyze employment market trends and local market compensation trends for similar positions
  • Maintain reporting requirements (EEO, AAP, Workforce Analysis, etc.)
  • Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers to understand requirements
  • Manage postings, applicant pool and operate applicant tracking software
  • Evaluate resumes against job requirements and screen applicants
  • Engage with top candidates to discuss terms of employment and negotiate job offers
  • Coordinate college recruiting efforts
  • Travel as needed

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years full-cycle recruiting experience with a medium size business
  • Experience recruiting for positions out of state
  • Strong negotiating and candidate closing skills
  • Exemplary level of professional communication (written and verbal)
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP regulations and State/Federal employment laws
  • Experience utilizing social media and other electronic platforms as recruiting tools
  • Ability to effectively work with various program requirements, managers, position disciplines and candidates
  • Strong level of position ownership is required
  • Outgoing customer-service oriented

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree is preferred
