Western & Southern Financial Group has an immediate opportunity for a Lms Administrator.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Positively influences associate learning and development by serving as the primary technical expert on the Learning Management System (LMS). Works closely with training partners to determine the overall design and expansion of the functionality of the LMS to meet short- and long-term organizational learning and development goals. Handles the management, administration and operation of the LMS. Provides database support, maintenance of electronic educational records, and serves as a technical resource on the LMS and our other integrated systems. Configures, customizes and develops custom reports and curriculums to meet stakeholder needs. Assists area LMS coordinators with standard and customized reports, system generated communications and centralized support and services to trainers and facilitators across the organization. Works with minimal supervision and is responsible for

making an established range of decisions. Escalates issues to Manager when necessary and provides regular updates.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Works with training partners to design, implement and maintain a centrally governed LMS framework capable of supporting multiple coordinators while meeting unique corporate and subsidiary requirements and short- and long-term organizational goals.

  • In Production and Test environments, manages the system design, configuration and end-to-end testing to create a consistent user experience, produces high-quality data, and creates a sustainable administration model.

  • Analyzes system usage and learning data to make optimization recommendations, such as opportunities for process, configuration, and improvements, to training leaders and business partners. Partners with stakeholders to implement recommendations.

  • Implements and manages a social learning structure capable of meeting complex and customized corporate training and department training requirements.

  • Develops and implements LMS standard operation procedures to ensure efficient publishing of high-qualitytraining, including online training, materials, videos, etc.

  • Serves as the organization's subject matter expert for the LMS and related tools, emerging technology, e-learning publishing software and methods, LMS integrations, including content solutions, SSO and AICC. Shares findings with System Administrator, HR leaders, business partners and training leaders, and works as a key resource to implement value-add solutions.

  • Serves as a key project member for introducing new training programs and initiatives to the organization. Develops, recommends and implements custom automated training delivery processes and methods. Consults with training partners on publishing online training that meets business requirements and creates long-term value for the learner. Implements quality assessment and evaluations for learning programs.

  • Maintains the LMS by serving as an internal escalation resource for troubleshooting and by managing the LMS enhancement release process including testing, migration to production, reporting and supporting administrators and end users with training.

  • Partners with the field training team to publish training, deliver training to field associates and support associates with their completion of various training modules. Finds solutions to automate and create efficiencies in the field training team’s processes.

  • Serves as the primary resource to support Human Resources in creating high-quality system training, including online courses, videos and other job aid types.

  • Maintains a relationship with the LMS vendor, related vendors and other key contacts in the LMS industry.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Selection Criteria:

  • Related experience required as an LMS administrator or in similar position.

  • Proven experience collaborating with various audiences to publish training consumed in a cloud-based LMS.

  • Proven experience and proficiency assessing, analyzing, developing, writing and communicating business requirements/specifications for projects. Must be able to cite examples from work experience in testing software packages giving details of development and execution of test plans.

  • Demonstrated experience in safeguarding confidential data and ensuring security integrity.

  • Proven strong analytical skills, including demonstrated work experience on identifying, quantifying and providing creative solutions to complex problems. Proven experience working independently identifying and resolving problems utilizing independent decision-making and initiative.

  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience successfully interpreting and communicating business needs between internal groups and external vendors in a clear, focused and concise manner. Verbal and written communications are to conform to proper rules of punctuation, grammar, diction and style.

  • Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of staff and manage work effectively in a team environment which includes sharing knowledge and resources. Must be able to easily grasp and communicate complex ideas.

  • Proven experience coordinating multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.

Work Setting:

  • This position works in an office setting and remains continuously in a stationary position for long periods of time while working at a desk, on a computer or with other standard office equipment, or while in meetings.

  • Requires visual acuity to read a variety of correspondence, reports and forms and to prepare and analyze data in an accurate, neat and thorough manner.

  • Requires the ability to continuously make repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

  • Requires the communication ability to express or exchange accurate information verbally.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate selection criteria experience.

Computer Skills and Knowledge of Hardware & Software Required:

  • Proficient in a e-Learning authoring tool(s); Articulate proficiency preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Certifications & Licenses (i.e., Series 6 & 63, CPA, etc.):

  • None required.
