ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Shares responsibility for creating a positive working environment and providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders.

• Serves as Cornerstone (Applicant Tracking System) Administrator for recruitment and on-boarding modules.

• Serves as HR Diversity Representative and member of the HFC Diversity Task Force.

• Assists in the development, implementation, and compliance aspects of the College’s diversity and inclusion initiatives.

• Facilitates oversight and supports search committee efforts regarding applicant and analysis of hiring process and EEO compliance.

• Ensures job descriptions are current and appropriate before being posted and input properly into the Cornerstone system.

• Assists in the development of a robust recruiting program and comprehensive, documented hiring process.

• Serves as search committee facilitator; ensuring that the committee is trained and the process is efficient and effective.

• Ensures throughout the recruitment process that best practices are in place; oversees job fairs.

• Collects and reports data on HR Metrics such as time to fill, EEO data, onboarding satisfaction, recruiting efforts, etc.

• Responsible for the coordination of the onboarding process (from offer to start date).

• Assists the HR team in other duties necessary to achieve department goals. 

Requirements


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, or related discipline. Minimum of three (3) years of recruitment experience in Human Resources or closely related area.

Experience with an integrated human resources software system required. Strong written and oral communication skills. Experience prioritizing and organizing a large number of demands effectively in a multiple union setting with minimal supervision. Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Excellent customer service skills, teamwork and collaboration skills used with multiple and diverse constituents. Must be self-directed and have the ability to take ownership and drive responsibilities through to completion.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in a union environment.
