JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Responsible for managing and leading the recruitment process and the overall utilization of HR Recruiters. Responsible for the development of the recruitment process and the implementation of recruitment innovations. Solves all issue evolving during hiring job vacancies and takes all managerial decisions. Develops and continually improves the recruitment process. Meets with internal clients on the regular basis as the potential gaps are identified and researched to provide regular feedback to HR Recruiters and internal clients. Develops and tracks critical metrics associated with the recruitment process.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Management

  • Designs, develops and maintain the recruitment process in the organization (including its description, recruitment measurement definitions, regular measurement reporting, taking proper actions to close gaps).

  • Designs the selection matrix for choosing the optimum recruitment channel and recruitment source.

  • Explores the market best practices in the recruitment and staffing and implement appropriate best practices in the organization.

  • Builds a quality relationship with the internal customers and external recruitment agencies.

  • Monitors and constantly reduces the costs of the recruitment process.

  • Sets the social media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions in the organization.

  • Conducts job interviews for the managerial job positions (or key jobs in the organization).

  • Monitors the labor legislation and implements required changes to keep the process compliant.

  • Manages and develops the team of HR Recruiters.

  • Acts as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics.

  • Designs training recruitment for HR Recruiters and line managers.

  • Manages internal candidates and referrals from employees.

  • May recruit talent from outside the United States.

Interview

  • Schedules interviews with hiring manager and key team members, including travel and other accommodations if needed; schedules second round interviews as needed.

  • Organizes, leads and documents post-interview debrief/feedback sessions with interview team.

  • Performs detailed reference checking on second round candidates and reviews results with hiring managers.

  • Extends offers of employment to selected candidates under the direction of the hiring managers; negotiates final terms based on internal equity, market value and manager’s budget.

  • Coordinates background check of applicants, if required.

  • Coordinates drug testing.

  • Contacts and provides feedback to candidates that were not selected.

Training & Professional Development

  • Provides managers with training on how to interview and develop interviewing skills; provides interview questions, guidelines and feedback forms; answers questions managers may have regarding the interview process; provides other tools as needed and/or required.

Database Maintenance and Reporting

  • Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates, locally and nationally.

  • Maintains accurate and well-organized documentation on all candidates, searches, hiring manager interactions, and other recruiting activities to ensure a safe and thorough audit if required.

  • Provides updates to VP of HR.

  • Provides data for staffing metrics including but not limited to candidate tracking, expense tracking; time-to-fill, turnover and acceptance of job offers.

  • Manages On-Boarding Program for all new hires, including new hire packets and on-boarding documentation; updates and maintains Buddy Program.

HR/Business Operations

  • Manages administration associated with the Visa process.

  • Manages relocation allowances and expense management associated with the recruiting process.

  • Provides input and makes suggestions for developing and implementing policies and procedures.

  • Ensures QMS processes are implemented and followed at all times.

  • May manage and deliver new employee orientation.

  • Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of the organization.

Other

  • Builds relationships through networking efforts with the HR Team, candidates, hiring managers, industry leaders, recruiting agencies, attending job fairs, etc.

  • Handles general administrative duties including, agency agreements, processing of invoicing, etc.

  • Manages intern program by conducting orientations; scheduling rotations and assignments; monitoring intern job contributions; coaching interns; advising managers on training and coaching initiatives.

  • Works with team members on special projects as required and/or assigned.

  • Develops ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies; stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive.

  • Participates in educational opportunities; reads professional publications; maintains personal networks, participates in professional organizations in order to remain up-to-date and current HR practices.

  • Works collaboratively with the HRBP’s and HR Operations team to ensure that compensation and job descriptions are in alignment with company practices.

  • Performs other duties as required and/or assigned.

Special Job Dimensions

  • Will be required to travel up to 20% of the time.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience

  • BS Degree in Human Resources or related discipline

AND

  • 10-15 years of solid recruiting experience in related environment: sales and marketing, corporate headquarters, or manufacturing.

  • PHR or SPHR preferred.
