Alban CAT, the Caterpillar dealer for the mid-Atlantic Region is accepting applications for an Entry Level Shop Technician, Rents for our Pulaski branch.

 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a highly visible role responsible for working collaboratively with Management and Hiring Managers to identify staffing needs, develop effective recruiting strategies and provide guidance on industry trends. Understands and maintains awareness of recruiting, industry and market trends and works closely with Supervisor to develop Company recruiting strategies.   Builds talent pipeline by seeking out new and creative ideas to source candidates through social media, resume mining, outreach efforts, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other advertising methods. Monitors effectiveness of recruitment efforts. Manages the requisition process and ATS ensuring compliance with all federal and state laws and Company policies. Coordinates the administration of diversity recruiting efforts. Creates and fosters relationships with educational institutions and professional organizations. Coordinates the participation in job fairs and makes public presentations at schools, organizations, job fairs and other related events. Works with Marketing Department to develop recruiting materials and strategies. Maintains and ensures accurate candidate documentation and follow up, generates various reports for management review, coordinates offer letters and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of staffing/recruiting experience creating effective recruitment strategies including sourcing passive candidates through networking, internal referrals, job postings and social media. Must have knowledge of Employment Law. Experience with diversity recruiting initiatives and Affirmative Action Plans preferred. Must be results driven and have the ability to work with time constraints. Must have the ability to show accountability by measuring performance via hiring metrics. Must have strong interviewing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to build relationships across all levels of the organization. Must be a creative thinker and have the ability to communicate ideas effectively. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products, have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
