Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist that will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, testing and referring applicants for positions throughout the company. This person must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of all general and specialized functions in the company, understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. We will rely on this role to make suggestions and guide certain bench-marking and staffing development. You will also liaison with Finance and HR to assist New Hire on-boarding and field questions regarding benefits, compensation and other new employment matters.

Furthermore, we are looking to fulfill specific industry-related and technology-related roles which are key hires to carry out our product pipeline. It is critical our recruiting partner develops deep understanding of software as service (SaaS), electric vehicles (EVs), public utilities, automotive manufacturers (OEM)s, alternative energy, transportation, and EV infrastructure technology. We are hoping you will be as passionate about these fields as we are!

Responsibilities:

    • Partner with CEO, Hiring Manager and HR/Finance to review staffing needs and compensation
    • Draft/Update Job Descriptions
    • Locate and recruit potential candidates for direct hire (no 3rd party agency recruitments)
    • Liaison with area employment agencies, colleges, and industry associations
    • Evaluates applicants by assessing technical skills and qualifications with managers
    • Coordinate and host interviews
    • Guide interviewing on consistent set of qualifications, administering appropriate company and technical assessments
    • Perform background screenings and reference checks
    • Conducting exit interviews on terminating employees
    • Maintain point-of-contact for potential candidates
    • Coordinate applicable onboarding documents for HR/Payroll to hand off new hires

 

12-Mo direct hire (longer with successful growth)

Medical, Dental and Vision available

Base salary with Bonus potential for successful placement and retention

 

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Requires ability to sit or stand for extended periods; ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as required to maintain filing and organization systems.

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • AA/BA Degree in related field
  • PHR/SHRM certification or Masters preferred
  • Carry out recruiting and hiring tasks in accordance with Federal, State and Local laws
  • Recruiting for long-term success, results-driven
  • Appropriate application of qualifications and requirements to candidate selection
