Talent and Development Leader
Long Island University


Job Description: The Talent and Development Leader will work with the Chief Talent & HR Officer to create and implement innovative recruitment strategies, talent processes and development programs to ensure the attraction, retention, engagement and sustainment of talent for the LIU University Community. S/he will proactively identify opportunities to establish LIU as an employer of choice and a culture of high performance. The appropriate candidate will have 3-5 years of experience working in a progressive organization and have exhibited the ability to influence and engage colleagues in continuous improvement

Qualifications: Candidates should possess a degree in Human Resources or related field. An MBA is a plus. Experience in OD, Talent Mgt., L&D, HCM technology, recruiting process and technology, competency development and behavioral interviewing will differentiate candidates from others applying for this role. The T&R Leader should possess and exhibit strong results orientation, process discipline, creative problem solving and strong collaborative and influencing skills.
