Position Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead case management of employee-related issues including consulting with Sr. Leaders and line management on day-to-day Employee Relations issues such as policy interpretation, coaching, performance management consulting and disciplinary action/material preparation for headquarters and field population; partner with key stakeholders (i.e., Legal and Compliance) on complex issues that require close consulting and case management (i.e., compliance violations, complaints, leaves of absence, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the TT&C team in designing and executing programs and activities that embed and advance our unique culture; collect and analyze relevant data through various modes and leverage team member insights to identify trends and opportunities to strengthen performance, ownership and engagement

  • Coach managers and teams to build capabilities that will ensure a high performing, positive, productive work environment; proactively build a uniquely positive and productive work environment by responding to questions and concerns and proactively addressing issues and advising management on best practices

  • Collaborate with the team to create and execute programs, activities and communications to connect head office and field force team members

  • Lead and participate in TT&C projects, as well as support day-to-day operations; ability to balance time between projects and crisis-response is a critical component for success in the position

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of Human Resources / Employee Relations experience

  • Experience supporting and engaging remote team members

  • Ability to exercise autonomy, independent judgment and decision making, balancing the use of data and judgment to resolve issues and mitigate risk

  • Adept at building trust- based, productive relationships with all levels of the organization

  • Strong written and communication skills; ability to manage difficult conversations

  • Working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations

  • Innovative problem-solver and ability to work with and resolve conflict

  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities and organize time

  • Superb interpersonal skills, high level of professionalism and integrity

  • Ability to travel within the U.S. as needed (10%)

  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office suite

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Life Sciences industry experience strongly preferred
