Job Details

The Total Rewards Analyst will be responsible for managing the payroll process and administering the benefit plans for all employees. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, precise, and analytical with a strong background in payroll and benefits administration. Accuracy, organization and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. 
 
Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee health, welfare and retirement plans company-wide. Benefit programs include: medical, dental, vision, short-term/long-term disability, workers' compensation, leave of absence, flexible spending, 401K
  • Assure legal and regulatory compliance for all compensation and benefit programs
  • Act as the primary strategic contact for benefit brokers/providers, and work collaboratively with those providers to source and develop benefit programs
  • Acts as liaison between employees and benefits providers to resolve benefit related problems and ensure effective utilization of plans and positive employee relations
  • Monitor employee population for benefit eligibility and prepare all federally-mandated reports including ACA
  • Ensures plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations and plan provisions are followed
  • Review monthly billings and elections for accuracy and process for payment
  • Participate in annual negotiations and plan design strategy
  • Recommend changes to benefit plan or design
  • Manage employee wellness initiatives
 
Compensation Administration:
  • Assist in the administration of compensation practices, procedures and policies. 
  • Participate in all aspects of the development and administration of annual merit increase and incentives process
  • Assist in conducting job analysis and evaluations to determine appropriate market pricing, job family classification, bonus plan and FLSA status of positions companywide
  • Prepares and inputs payroll data such as garnishments, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
  • Process bi-weekly transfer of payroll data to Paycor.
  • Compile internal management reports from payroll system software
  • Facilitates management and employee understanding of payroll procedures
  • Maintain employee database in Paycor system
  • Manage workflows process, system reports and perform audits in Paycor
  • Prepare federal, state and local government payroll reports and file monthly, quarterly and annual returns and tax deposits
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and applicable state laws regarding payroll and benefits

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of government regulations as they apply to compensation and benefits
  • Ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to deal with employee’s on all levels
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Problem solving skills
  • General knowledge of HR Laws including but not limited to ADA, FMLA, and COBRA
 
Credentials and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or other related field
  • 5+ years administering and managing total rewards systems
  • Expert proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Comprehensive understanding of payroll processing and HRIS reporting systems 
  • Technical experience with Paycor systems preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certifications, preferred
  • CCP or CBP certifications, beneficial
