SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Training and Employee Development Manager will be responsible for coordinating with various departments throughout the organization to create, design, develop and implement training strategies, programs, plans, and processes. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all training programs are implemented, coordinated, and tracked consistently throughout the company.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Coordinates company-wide training by communicating with department leaders to determine what the training needs are for their work groups

  • Responsible for partnering with Operations and Support Services to ensure that all training is captured in the HR System

  • Partners with HR Director and HR Manager to ensure employees going through a career development plan are included in necessary trainings

  • Responsible for facilitating new hire orientations and traveling to various offices to facilitate orientation as needed

  • Facilitates trainings as needed

  • Responsible for developing tracking for training needs in various departments

  • Responsible for maintaining all training records

  • Other duties as needed.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or Related

  • 3-5 Years Training experience

  • Understanding of State and Federal regulatory training requirements

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong Computer Skills (Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel experience)
