Under the general supervision of the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for the Human Resources Outsourcing Teams and managing client services.


  • Provides strategic direction and leadership for the HRO teams (payroll, benefits, and HRIS) and client services.

  • Manages staff development including coaching and counseling, training, mentoring, career and succession planning.

  • Ensures appropriate resources are in place to support business objectives based on operational requirements and client services provided.

  • Demonstrates commitment to providing exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

  • Serve as an escalation point for payroll, benefits and HRIS for critical client service issues and coordinate responses and delivery of solutions to clients.

  • Set and manage client expectations for HRO services.

  • Maintains a working knowledge and understanding of the HRO services offered to clients.

  • Identifies new service and/or product opportunities that support our clients in the payroll, benefit, and HRIS areas.

  • Responsible for managing and executing against HRO objectives and goals.

  • Manages the budget and other financial measures of the HRO departments.

  • Develops new approaches, policies and procedures for process improvement and efficiency related to HRO services provided.

  • Collaboration with other executives to determine ways to reduce costs, increase revenues, and improve overall company performance.

  • Drive HRO services strategy and expanding HRO services solutions.


  • Bachelor’s degree.

  • A minimum of 10 years demonstrating successful leadership of payroll, benefits, and/or HRIS teams, plus in-depth knowledge in each of these functional areas.

  • Strong Communicator and professional with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Self-motivated and have the ability to readily adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented. Ability to plan and communicate strategically.

  • This position requires up to 25% travel.

  • Client relationship experience – managing client expectations, services, and overall relationship.


  • Outsourced environment experience including client relationship management.

  • Payroll, Human Resources or Benefit certifications a plus.
